Vince Zampella, the mind behind the immensely successful franchise Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in the state of California at the age of 55.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the development studio he co-founded.
The celebrated video game developer passed away following his automobile collided and caught fire on a motorway in Los Angeles on Sunday, US media outlets report.
